At the end of the long day from swimming at the gym to playing at the beach. We ended our day with a movie. Requested by both kids, Ghostbusters. Yes I got a little burnt as did Ethan. But it's turning into a nice golden tan. Yeah!

Poor DeeDee got left behind. I think she would love the beach. But not sure how she'd do with all the people and other dogs. We need to get her out more. Maybe take her to that dog beach in Huntington or start off with a small dog, dog park. Poor girl she misses us.

My sister did my toes and I love them. She made this color custom made just for me:) The kids love them too and will pet them.

You can tell it's Santa Monica. Brings back a lot of good memories.

At the beach I held Sophie while we played in the waves and she loved it this time. I met my family there and saw my brother Josh who came back from Mexico speaking fluent Spanish. He got back on Monday. He's grown almost a foot taller and is still the same guy I remember him. The kids instantly loved playing with their fun loving Uncle Gosh. Didn't take pictures until we were packing up in the car. I also had my friend Isiadora come along and we loved having her. Thanks Isi for all your help.

Thats so cool you guys go to the beach a lot---brandon never joins? Thats a lot to take care of, and carry! The beach sounds fun though. There are some nice beaches down in virginia beach/norfolk, but i don't like the drive (you have to go in an underwater tunnel thats scary and always has traffic). But maybe when we go to atlantic city, or north carolina we will find some nice beaches. The east coast water is warmer than the west so it's easier to get in and go farther out. But i admit i am always fearful of whats next to my feet!

Brandon's at work when we go, most of the time. It is a lot of work to take the kid's by myself, but we all love it and I think it's worth it. Not a big fan of sand in everything but that's pretty much something you can't prevent.
