Chalk Festival

I found out about this chalk festival in Pasadena and I had to go. It was a lot of fun. It made me really excited to get back into art again. I think next year I might sign up and do it. It looked like so much fun! I also love to work with chalk and pastels they are awesome. So it's very possible I'll be there next year working. I'll have to see if I'm any good anymore or if I'm out of it and need practice. When I went back to school after having Ethan I actually was a better artist than before. It might be the same when I go back in the fall. We'll see. I also think I'm going to probably double major and major in something more practical as well. I still love art so I can't just drop it all together. I got to figure it out soon.

If you look at the sky you'll see a fuzzy dot. It's her penny.

Ethan has his glasses on. Though he calls them his circles.

This looks like a self portrait.

This was one of our favorites.
Looks like another self portrait.

Some were done in groups.

I knew you'd like the last one too. It actually was another one of my very favorites. Thanks Samantha. I think I look gross in the picture, but Sophie looks so cute with her cheesy grin.

Those are amazing! I remember going to a chalk art festival as a kid, maybe 6 or 7, and thought it was really cool - I still remember it! :)

Wow. I can't believe all of the time and effort and all to be eventually walked on or washed away. SO COOL, though. Keep going on these neat family trips! It's nice to see what you guys are up to.
