Play Camping

Brandon last night set up a tepee tent for the kids to play in. I asked if they wanted to sleep in it and they of course said yes. So I made them a bed but it didn't last long. Sophie wanted to sleep in her crib and Ethan wanted to be with Daddy. It was fun while it lasted. That picture that looks like they're sleeping was phony. Ethan wanted me to take a picture of him with his eyes closed. I think they are still too young to really appreciate a campout. We need to go camping this summer.

i cant wait to go camping (we should have gone last weekend but it was thunder stormy).

some of my best memories are of camping as a kid. there is a camp ground, i think its called Buena Vista, and it was great because we rode bikes on paved trails (sometimes roller skated), swam in the lake, and theres a good sized playground, too. i fell outta my first tree there. good times.

I didn't camp much as a kid. Camping was done in the backyard. We did have a lot of fires in our backyard which felt like camping.
Now, we love it. Our favorite place to camp and where we usually camp is at Carpenteria, near the ocean. We'll have to try Buena Vista campground, it sounds nice.

Levi's so jealous of Ethan's Cars sheets! He has to "visit" them at the store every time we go - our grocery store sells bedding right next to the cheese. Funny, huh?

it used to be nice. places have changed so much. we like to camp at McGrath state beach, but they dont allow dogs on the beach so we rarely stay there. Carpenteria is great.
