Update
Saturday night I went to bed late. I was busy making tamales for Sunday's dinner and the refried beans I make, that take 8 hours to cook in a crockpot. I made 32 tamales for my first time and they turned out great.
Sophie had woken up around 4 since she wasn't feeling well with her fever and coughed so hard she threw up (on my side of the bed of course.) After that I couldn't go back to sleep. So I decided to make biscuits and sausage gravy and eggs for breakfast. While Brandon cudddled with Sophie at the bottom of our bed and Ethan slept in Brandon's spot.
I felt fine for most of the day. But when night came I turned into a witch. I made our bed with clean sheets and let everyone know that we were all going to bed.
The picture of Ethan I took while typing this blog at 1 in the morning. Yes, he is up and wanted me to take a picture. He got up from bed when he heard the video of him saying his quote. He says he's hungry and is now fixing himself some chips, salsa and rice and beans leftovers. He didn't really eat his dinner. I need to get the kids, and myself, on a schedule. I'm not tired and neither is he. We both are night owls and I'm the one who has turned him into one. (I'm getting a kick out of watching him right now eating his midnight snack.) Being sick has thrown all of us off, with our somewhat schedule we use to have.
As requested this is Ethan saying his quote. I took a couple videos of him saying this because he asked to say it again. He loves watching the videos of himself.

Hope you guys feel better soon. It seems like once one person gets sick it just keeps getting passed back and forth. I would love to know your biscuit recipe, I can never find one that I like as well as Bisquick.
We are just now getting on a good sleep schedule with Levi and it helps sooo much! I get really tired during the day when he doesn't nap, but he'll go to bed around 7-8 and sleep almost 12 hours with no nap. It's awesome because my 8 hours of sleep are worth a lot more when I don't wait past midnight to go to sleep and without a kid waking up in the middle of the night.

We are also on a horrible sleeping schedule. Well, Josiah and I are. Georgie we've got down pretty well. She used to wake up after an hour after she'd gone to bed at 7:30. We finally figured out that she was looking at this as her 3rd nap. Moved bedtime back a tiny bit and it worked like a charm. In bed around 8:30-9:00 and she'll sleep until around 8:00. We adults just don't seem to get into bed. I TOTALLY would, but Josiah just gets home from work so late. It's always tough to decide between hanging out and getting rest. I think it's a newer problem for our society, actually. I think lots of people are starting to do this. It's not healthy, but it's hard for me to fight it!! Hope you guys feel better soon! It's a total drag when everyone is sick.

Thanks Ricki and Katie. I have the problem of Brandon getting home from school at bedtime 8 which is hard to schedule around. If I'm getting the kids to bed then, they hear Daddy and of course get up to see him. When Brandon gets home he's hungry so many times we wait and eat together as a family. Which takes an hour to eat and then about another one to get ready for bed. We can usually have the kids in bed at 10 but then getting them to sleep takes between an hour or two. Ethan is no longer napping which makes it a little easier but then he still has energy (I don't know where it comes from.) Also Ethan likes Daddy to put him to sleep and Sophie like me which works. But when I put both to sleep and Daddy's home, Ethan knows and will not sleep. Now Sophie knows how to manipulate and push her bedtime by asking to go potty, or for a drink, or a nightlight and so on. I think if Brandon came home just two hours either way, at 6 or at 10, I think that might work fine and we could get them on a schedule. Also I think if we all woke up earlier that might help as well. It's just really hard to do when we go to sleep so late. I don't know how Brandon does it. Good thing he goes to sleep really easily. I would not be able to function if I woke up when he has to and went to sleep when I usually do. Yikes. He really is exhausted every night so we do need to do something different. With us being sick has made it even worse. I also agree with you Katie that not getting enough sleep is bad for your health. I'm thinking that's why we are staying sick for so long. Though now we are strongly suspecting it might be mold. But when I got sick with walking pneumonia last year I wasn't sleeping hardly at all. Though again it was the same time last year as this year and might be because of the mold growth. Or a combination of both. Plus not getting enough sleep doesn't help with losing weight since you feel you need to eat to create more energy and... yeah. We just need to have a better sleep schedule.
