Heceta Lighthouse

We did a short hike to the lighthouse and then took the small tour.

Sophie wanted to pick up all the rocks she could hold or not on the way up. On the way back she wanted to pick all of the flowers.
Brandon took this pictures from out the lighthouse window. You can see where they stored the oil just below and the workers house in the distance.
I love this
picture Brandon took.
This was the veiw on the hike up. There were tons of blackberry bushes all along the path we had stop and try them every now and then.

More scenic pictures.
There was also a cool bridge. We went over so many bridges big and small throughout our trip. Ethan still gets excited when he see one. To be honest so do I.

The lady who gave the tour told us our children were so well behaved! That was a first. They loved the lighthouse (lots of stairs and they love stairs) and their energy was mainly used up from the long hike. We were told to come back and look at the lighthouse at night. It was even better to see at night. Unfortunatley when we left in the dark, we forgot the camera. Ethan throughout the trip asks to see the lighthouse. He still asks to see it every once in a while when it's dark and he thinks we are going somewhere. He'll say "wanna go see the lighthouse Mommy?"
